IUN Rolls with 6 Players in Double Figures
The Indiana Northwest women blew into the windy city on Thursday night for a matchup with the Moody Bible Institute Archers riding a current 10 game winning streak. When the dust settled, the RedHawks were off and running en route to a decisive 98-57 and their school record tying 11th straight win. The Indiana Northwest women haven't suffered a defeat since falling in overtime in the Championship Game of the Holiday 70-67 at host Cornerstone on Dec. 17. The RedHawk's pressure forced 25 Archer turnovers leading to transition opportunities and a balanced scoring attack with 6 players in double figures led by senior guard Juliette Keller's 15 points on 7-8 shooting from the floor. Also reaching double digits were Ashley Parish (14), Sharon Houston (13), Paige Hickenbottom (12), Kelly Gross (11) and Ashley Michalski (11). Parish served as a first half catalyst scoring 12 of her 14 points pacing the RedHawks to a 47-32 halftime advantage.
