(ROCHESTER, MI) The RedHawks were swept in a doubleheader on Friday against the Warriors of Rochester College by scores of 5-0 and 10-0. The first game seemed to be a good sign of things to come as the RedHawks remained competitive against the Warriors.The Warriors struck for three runs in the bottom of the second inning using four consecutive hits including a two-run double by Cory Diaz then added another run in the third on a monstrous home run by Jeff Martinez.Starting RedHawks pitcher Demetrios Pitsas seemed to find his groove as he did not allow another run until the fifth inning on a run-scoring single by Aaron Distelrath that closed the scoring. For the game, Pitsas fired a complete game allowing those five runs. He walked three and struck outone and allowed nine hits while throwing 98 pitches. Andy Mulder was equal to the task by matching the complete game effort going seven innings in the win.  
In game two, the Warrior bats came out early against starting RedHawks pitcher Josh Santiago as they sent all nine batters to the plate in the bottom of the first. A walk to leadoff hitter Nathan Billings started the frame followed by a triple by Ryan Chipka. Justin Crossley laced a one-out double scoring Chipka and later scored on a wild pitch. After a ground out, a single, and a walk, Anthony Incarnati brought home Steve Bedsole with a run-scoring single to make the score 5-0 after the first inning.
 
The Warriors got two more in the third on a fielder's choice as the Hawks fell asleep on defense. Nathan Billings drove the runs home. The Warriors then put the game away in the bottom of the fourth with three more runs on a two-run double by Jeff Martinez and a run-scoring single by Steve Bedsole.
 
Hunter Reams picked up the win for the Warriors while Josh Santiago absorbed the loss for the RedHawks.
