A second half surge from the Indiana University Northwest men's basketball team led them to an 107-88 victory over Governors State University. Senior Justin Pennington paced the RedHawks offense with a game-high 24 points while pulling down 10 rebounds.
Four other RedHawks finished in double figures as Vince Gooden finished with 23 points and John Mosser added 19 points and a game high 13 rebounds. Darrius Davis scored 18 points while Ronald Alexander chipped in 12. IU Northwest went into the half with a six-point lead. Sharing the ball and change in defensive intensity allowed the RedHawks to extend their lead early in the second half that led to this 19-point win. The RedHawks have won 8 out of their last 9 games. The RedHawks will be back in action Wednesday, December 21st at 7pm when they host Roosevelt University.
