Gary, IN - Indiana University Northwest Office of Athletics officially introduced Nicole Hartford as the RedHawks Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach.

 

Nicole Hartford graduated from Chesterton High School where she was all state in both cross-country and track & field.  Coached by Indiana Association of Track and Cross Coaches Hall of Famer, Steve Kearney. 

Nicole then went on to Ball State University where she was a 4-year letter winner in cross-country and track.  She was part of the 2003 Mid-American Conference Championship Cross Country Team and 2002 NCAA DI Championship Qualifying Team.  At Ball State, current Eastern Michigan Head Coach, Sue Parks, coached her. 

Nicole has her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Ball State and is currently an Academic Advisor at Purdue University Northwest.

Highlights

PNC 2015 – During the team's second season of competition, Nicole coached PNC to a ninth-place, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference finish.  She also assisted in training the program's first-ever National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national qualifier and CCAC Freshman of the Year, Kyleigh Werner.
