The Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to Richmond, Indiana to compete in the Pat Thomas Invitational, hosted by Earlham College.
For the third time this year, Junior Angela Klukken led the Women's team with her 5th place finish. Klukken covered the 4 kilometer course in a time of 18:15. Senior Caridad Ramos was the second RedHawk to cross the finish line. Ramos placed 19th in a time of 20:27. Emily Morrison placed 25th in a time of 21:06. Also scoring for the RedHawks were Carrie Bell and Lydia Sadlowski. Bell placed 28th overall in a time of 23:01. Sadlowski follwed closely behind, placing 29th overall in a time of 23:48. Earlham College won the meet with a score of 18 points.
Junior Miguel Tapia led the men's team once again with his top 10 finish. Tapia covered the 6000 meter course in a time of 21:35. Senior Brent Dunn was 12th. Dunn crossed the line in a time of 22:09. Joshua Novak was the third RedHawk to cross the finish line. Novak covered the course in a time of 23:28, placing 16th overall. Also scoring for the RedHawks were Michael Phillips and Carlos Luna. Phillips placed 18th in a time of 23:48. Luna covered the course in a time of 24:29, placing 23rd overall. Earlham College won the meet with a score of 23.

The RedHawks will be back in action this Friday when the teams travel to South Bend, Indiana for the Bethel College Invitational.
