James a letterman in 2009 begins his second year with the Redhawks following a successful freshman season. Beard provided valuable minutes off the bench at the point guard position. James' speed and quickness allow him to pressure opponents all over the floor. As a freshman James connect on 40 percent of his three-point attempts. On 1/5/2009 Beard matched a career high of five points connected on a triple and both of his free-throw attempts.
