Jenelle is in her second season with the RedHawks after transferring to IU Northwest from Lindsey Wilson College in 2008. Jenelle brought with her much needed toughness and experience. Despite being slowed by injuries in 2008-2009 the team captain averaged a solid 5.4 points and 5.0 rebounds for the RedHawks .She posted a career high 19 pts vs. Indiana Tech on 1/3/2009. She notched 16 points and 8 rebounds vs. Marian College on 12/20/2008. As a prep Kapelinski was a four-year letter winner in basketball and twice earned all-area honors at Lake Central High School. Jenelle is an outstanding rebounder and passer at the power forward position. Jenelle is majoring in accounting.
