Megan is in her first season with the Lady RedHawks after averaging 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds 3.3 assists, 3.4 steals per game as a senior at Calumet High School. Megan also shot 31% from three-point range while at Calumet. As a high school senior, Megan was named NWI Times and Post-Tribune All-Area Honorable Mention for the second straight year. While at Calumet, Leal guided Calumet to the sectional title game and a 19-4 record. One year earlier Megan led the Warriors to the 2008, 3A sectional championship finishing the year with a 20-5 overall record. Leal was a varsity letterman in three sports (basketball, volleyball and softball) and was a three-time, second-team all-conference selection. In addition, Megan was an all-conference selection in volleyball and team mvp. "Megan was one of region's best high school guards in 2009, she'll make an immediate impact at the college-level." Megan is majoring in dental hygiene.
