Leigha Kaftanic returns to the RedHawks after electing not to play in 2008. As a sophomore she was named 2007, RedHawks team most valuable player. As a prep, Leigha was a 3-time volleyball varsity winner at Hammond Morton High School and achieved honor student status. Kaftanic, an outside hitter, is an outstanding athlete who will look to attack opponents at the net.  Leigha is majoring in respiratory therapy.
