Two-time letter-winner and veteran forward Kym Daniels returns for her junior season with the RedHawks. Kym was a part of the 2008 Lady RedHawk recruiting class that has won 44 games and made three national tournament appearances the past two seasons. As a sophomore in 2009-10, Daniels appeared in 34 games as a sophomore while starting 6 while averaging 3.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. As a freshman, She posted a career-high 12 points in a win over Kuyper College on 2/13/2009. Last season, Kym grabbed a career-high, 10 rebounds in a win over Marygrove on 1/30/2010. Known for her incredible work ethic and toughness, Kym sets the tone each and every day in practice. As a prep at Hammond Morton High School, Daniels was a four-year varsity player and was named team captain her senior year, in all she earned eight varsity letters in basketball, volleyball and softball. An outstanding all-around athlete, Kym was an all-conference selection in both softball and volleyball at Morton. Kym is majoring in psychology.
