A potent scorer and shooter from long range, Kelly Dobson joins the RedHawks after leading the Boone Grove Wolves to one of the most successful runs in the program's history. A team most valuable player three straight seasons, Kelly led Boone Grove to a 26-2 record as a senior consistently stretching defenses beyond the three-point arc with deadly shooting while averaging a 13.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. She surpassed 1,000 career points for the Wolves who ranked in the Indiana Class 2A, Top 10 for the duration of the 2009-10 season. Twice voted runner-up as PCC Player of Year, Dobson was an all-conference, all-area and all sectional player each of the past three seasons. Dobson led the Wolves to two Porter County Championships in 2006 and 2008. Additionally she was selected as an all-state honorable mention selection following both her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, Dobson torched Hebron for 25 pointers including 4 threes and 8 boards. Additionally, she connected on 5 triples en route to 21 pts, 7 reb, 5 stl and 3 ast in a win over Washington Twp. Kelly is majoring in nursing.
